Ayisha Ibrahim

Programs Coordinator

Ayisha Ibrahim is an accomplished communication specialist with 16years experience in the media.

Her areas of interest include environment, politics, legal affairs and security. She has over the period acquired special skills in leadership, administration, coaching and mentoring.

Ayisha obtained a Diploma in Communication Studies at the Africa University College of Communication(AUCC) in 2005 and followed it up with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies at the Ghana Institute of Journalism(GIJ) in 2011.

She btained a degree in Law (LLB )at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST) (Mountcrest University College)(MUC) in 2019 and followed that with a Masters in Public Administration at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST)in 2022. She is currently persuing a Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Ghana Legon.

Ayisha started as a young journalist in 2005 at the Public Affairs Department of the Parliament of Ghana where she worked on stories for the Parliamentary Website and the internal Newsletter of Parliament. She was also instrumental in the planning of public events for Parliament and also educating visitors on the affairs of Ghana’s Parliament.

She has participated in several important seminars and conferences including the 50th anniversary summit of the African Union in Addis Abba, Ethiopia.
Ayisha’s background in administration which she acquired through formal and informal training makes her a great fit for the Programs Coordinator position at JSI.
